When printing from Edge, the printed text is very light / faint.

When printing from Internet Explorer, Pale Moon, Word, Excel, or Notepad, printed text is correctly black.

Does anybody know what might be causing this very light / faint printed text when printing from Edge?

I found people having this problem in Chrome. I know you use Edge but it might be worth a look.

Check your printer settings when you print something in Edge.  For some reason the browser was moving the print settings from standard to draft and print came out faint. It seems everytime they wished to print, they had to manually change the setting from draft to standard.

QuoteIt seems every time they wished to print, they had to manually change the setting from draft to standard.

Not every time actually. You can set the printing preferences for Edge.

Open Edge > Settings (the three dots at the upper right corner) > Print > Choose your printer and printing preferences. There is also an option More settings and you can set your preferred printing quality from there.
