well this might help anyone that reads this
i have "Aspellfox " and it is a extension for firefox and designed for Linux ;-)
so here we go !

ps it looks like it works so now have a spell checker for the forums

you can't add words to the dictionary, but i do like the price of it :-D

do you know if aspell updated quickly when FireFox is updated .

i did the firefox update last week and just installed Aspell
latest is  0.6.0

and if in doubt just click
tools/extensions,find updates ;-)

don't know if it is a Linux thing but it shows as Aspellfox ?
