I shall let you into wot I did dun founded out - which woz wot I suspected all along - but you lot wouldn't give me the code I asked for ...

I got the second bit of proof I needed from Vietnam Vet's last post. I had a look at it in raw code edit mode and saw the offending piece of code .......> Ad=1

My particularly tight security, which protects me from more than just "Nasties" - was not only preventing me from going to the link it was preventing me from even seeing the link in the first place!

So I am not as darft as I thought I was ... and I am not yet entirely blind ... (only get that way when sharing a session with Hammy in the drinks room ...)

This has been an interesting exercise - I knew what that proggie of mine did but I have never witnessed it hide a clicky link before - even when it was copy/pasted! - so we live and learn eh?

OOOH, I do like links 'specially made for me! :moreevil: Actually, I did see that thread after reading your PM, just forgot to thank you for the link.

As for the original link in question, I run into that on a regular basis when reading a post that contains a link to something posssibly questionable. I use the last free version of Adshield(beta) with the AGNIS for Adshield ad block list from Eric Howes. Have to turn the Block listed hyperlink option off to see many links or even see the complete HijackThis logs if they contain a bad link. Ironically, this particular link was not blocked, although Adshield does block what it identifies as a possible web bug from ehg.hitbox.com. Did not check to see if there were any ads blocked on that site or not. Just a little extra info for your amusement only. :D
