hi corrine,
oops i forgot this. the pc is running just fine now. its still slow but w/256megs trying to run xp i expect it to be slow. nothing like having a gig of memory hehehe.

You're welcome.  As I know you are familiar with CCleaner, I'm sure you have your friend running that or at least keeping temp files cleaned out. I see you already removed the downloaded program files.  :)

yes mame :tease:, i installed ccleaner on that sys a yr ago :lol:
today i installed Statrup Monitor and noscripts. also java is cleaned up and the newest version is installed and checked.
