Even if you aren't a member of CastleCops, you can sign up and take a chance in the sweepstakes give-away of more than $130,000 worth of security software and tools to Castle Cops forum members.

QuoteThe Contest celebrates CastleCops five years of operation and recognizes its volunteer community outstanding achievements and excellence in Internet security. Our promoters have donated their products as prizes estimated total at $130,000 US for this contest. We thank our promoters and our community for making our anniversary a special occasion.

You need to register at the forum, go through the email validation, and then click the link at the top of the forum to enter the contest.

Check as many (or all) of the boxes on the entry form as you wish to enter for a chance to win.  If you aren't sure if you would be interested in the particular software/book, etc., that's ok.  You can return and check the box later to enter that particular drawing.

Note:  there is only one entry per "category".  In other words, you won't be able to place multiple entries for Prevx, WinPatrol Plus, Windows Vista Ultimate or Nullbound (worth $3200), etc.  After checking the box(es) and submitting your entry, should you return, those options will no longer show as available to enter.

Check out the list here:  http://www.castlecops.com/modules.php?name=Contest2007

What you talking about?  The link Corrine provided above works, as well as yours.  Are your pages not loading again  :exorcize:

Or do you mean the 6 page thread on how to sort out the "categories"?  :hysterical:

I just checked all the boxes I was interested in...BUT, someone already had my nick

Who knows?  Maybe I'll win a Vista Ultimate and get a "smarter" online rep at the same time... :hysterical:

I just hope one of you wins something that you can use.  Definitely not bad for the price of registration -- or lurking.  :)

Yup, yup, FREE is good!  I also have my hopes for that WinPatrol Plus so I have a proggy to train to take care of my start ups

And with the cost of Vista Ultimate
Tarnak and anyone else who joins CastleCops and enters this contest have a fun, free option to engage in!  Who is going to win???  :D

Although this is a wonderful opportunity for ALL of us, it should not be forgotten that it coincides with the 5 year Anniversary of a class act forum!!!!!     :gwave:  :gwave:  :gwave:

@Tarnak, glad you got thru finally...that "Ripley_or_not" was an idea I got from our Hayc59  :flowers:

I hope you realize that if you didn't sign up for a chance at a particular software and now wish you had -- you can go back to the contest page and submit another entry.  The "categories" you already entered will not be available to enter again.

Ripley, I've been using WinPatrol 2007 and like the "delayed start" feature.  http://www.winpatrol.com/beta2007.html

I've been going through the winners post and recognize some familiar names.

Got one here with "our own" Tarnak!  Nice going (especially after all the hard work of getting there.  Persistence does pay off!).   :rose: :rose: :rose:

@Tarnak, I see you were jolly on the spot with the first reply in your winner's thread   What you do, stay up all night WAITING for the announcement??  :tease:
And that F-Prot NERD Edition...took me a while to sort out.  Quick review at the F-Prot website didn't DEFINE that edition...had to google it http://forum.f-prot.com/index.php/topic,146.0.html
Now, I see you can also become a member of their, what looks to be, an elite (see link above)"Nerd Club."!!!
I'm envious Tarnak! They've got a dandy F-Prot support forum over there!  Be sure to pass on some of those NERD secrets you are now entitled to!
