trouble with Landzdown message editor

Hi Friends,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but seems fairly close.
Over the last week or so, I've been receiving support here at Landzdown, for a potential problem with some kind of malware.  Up until now, the message editor has been functioning properly.  But when composing the last message I posted, and even now, none of the formatting options in the editor are working, smilies either.  When I click on them, I'm taken back to the homepage (and when I mouse over, I see the homepage url).

The reason I think the problem might be something to do with my computer, rather than with the message editor, is that between posting my last message, and the one before, I made several changes to my IE6 Internet Security Zone.  I have reversed the changes, one by one, to try to determine which one needs to be adjusted, and I've even put Landzdown in my Trusted Zone, but the formatting options and smilies still do not work properly.  This leads me to wonder if there is a problem with the editor.

Either way, I'm stumped!  Can someone check to make sure the editor is definitely functioning properly?  Once I'm sure the editor isn't the problem, I can dig deeper into my system.  As always, thank you for your assistance :-)

(PS -- no, I have not checked the "Don't use smilieys." option)

I can only confirm that "the editor" works as it's intended to do (checked it up on two different PC with Windows 2000 Pro and browsers MSIE 6 respectively Opera 8.02). :?

Hi, Brynn.  It could be that you have a corrupt cookie.  Try deleting your LandzDown cookie and logging in again and see if that solves the problem.

check your settings in trusted zone

remember you need javascript to do the happy face and other goodies

True, both the BBCodes & smileys rely on javascript to work (if you place the mouse cursor JUST over a bbcode button or a smiley you'll notice the URL it has is something like: javascript:void(0);
