Hi,

Everytime I open a folder, which contains any MP3 files..I get the following Explorer Error

" Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and need to close..."

If I open any folder.that does not contain...MP3..than all system functionality is normal. I am really confused by this.

Till Now I have done this to resolve:
1. Run SPYBOT and AAVG [fully updated in safe mode]
2. Uninstalled all mp3 related softwares except Windows Media Player 9
3. Reinstalled latest version of DirectX 9.

The latest SP2 update that I picked up was: Update for Windows XP(927891) - 05/11/2007.
The last software installation on my system was FEAR -- DEMO..But the problem started around 5-6 days after the installation. Have removed this too..!

Below is the HIJACK File...

I see you've cured the problem by using System Restore. Is there anything else we can help with?

Glad you got the problem sorted, albeit a strange one.
Beta. Software undergoes beta testing shortly before it's released. Beta is Latin for 'still doesn't work.'
