Today is Veterans day in the United Kingdom.

UK Veterans Day is a celebration of the contribution made by all those who have served in the Armed Forces and a means of raising public awareness of Veterans issues. It takes the form of a nationwide celebration. It is not about commemoration and therefore does not replicate Remembrance Day (November 11th or closest Sunday to 11/11).

Many thanks to all the service personnel, past and present, of Her Majesty for their contribution in making the world a safer place. Thanks too to the service personnel of friendly nations who have supported and continue to support and participate with our armed forces. May your God go with you.
