I scanned and it says i have exploit searchterror.com .. it is pretty horrible can someone help.. heres my hijackthis log file

I have a virus called exploit searchterror.com that i cannot get rid of and its ruining my computer. How in the world do i get rid of this

I'm sorry about posting it here, but I wasnt sure where it should have went, and since it wasnt responded to in the other section I thought I did it wrong or something.  I did do both the spyboy and ad-aware and I still have the problem...I really need to get rid of this, its affecting my job. here is my hijackthis log file.

        Lets do this:

        1. Please go here and download Ewido Security Suit:

  • Install ewido security suite
  • Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
  • The program will now go to the main screen
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.

  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update
  • Then click on Start Update
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido.

Once the updates are installed close the program for now

2. Click (Windowskey+R) and type services.msc . A new window will open, in the right pane scroll until you find ddraw
Doubleclick on it and a new window will open. Under "Startup type" set it to disabled. Click the stop button, apply and close.

3. Run HiJack This and checkmark the following entries, then hit "fix checked" and click "yes" on the prompt.

4. Reboot into safe mode (press the F8-key repetedly on bootup) and delete the following files and folders, in bold text :
Before you delete those files below, could you please zip those two files to an archive of their own:

Then e-mail them to diehardATmalware-research.co.uk, replacing "AT" with "@"

In order to find them, click (Windowskey+E) and in the toolbar click "Tools>Folder options" and under tab "View" checkmark "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected system files" and "Hide file extentions for known filetypes"

5. Now, while still in safe mode, run Ewido:
  • Click on scanner
  • Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
On the first alert, a window will open prompting you to take action. Checkmark "Remove" and "Perform action on all detections".
  • Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report.
  • Save the report .txt file to your desktop.
Now close ewido security suite.

6. Reboot normally

7. Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread together with a new HiJack This log and the Ewido report.

Once posted do not restart your pc untill suggested
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!
Note to others, do not use this tool without assistance, the infection is always slightly differant.

I checked off those things you told me to do to see the files, but I still couldn't find any of the files in the windows folder, I deleted all of the files you told me in the program files folder.  I don't know what to do.

Go on with the next step in the cleaning procedure I posted.
If the files aren´t found, it´s probably because they´ve changed names when you have rebooted.
Note, it´s important that you leave your computer ON, after you have run and posted the Look2MeFix-log.

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!

I went to do the l2mfix #2 and it asked for a password but wouldnt let me type anything.  so i just pressed enter, and it rebooted but nothing happened and it put a log.txt file in the folder and said checking for l2mfix account (0-no 1= yes)  0

Please try to download CWShredder:

Open the file and follow the prompts. Reboot and run L2MFix option #2 again.

Since this is a severe infection, I´d like to put in a disclaimer, quoted from the L2Mfix readme-file:

I do this, because we´re editing the registry, a very delicate section of system.
However, there is a backup created in the L2MFix-folder, called "backreg" if anything goes wrong :)

Please download the CWShredder, but do not run it yet. Don´t do anything just yet  :P
I just realized that the L2MFix just has been updated. I´m not sure yet, wether it´s the one we used, or if we should  rescan  again, so please stand by and I´ll try to get some info myself so that I know how to proceed.
