you then spray paint the eyeball, changing the iris color.
(remember which eye is being masked, spray painting the unshielded eye could result in temporary or permanent blindnessess.)

you put it up each nostril one at a time.
if you are able to remove it, said nostril is now larger, which could have these positive effects:
- you could possibly breath better.
- nostril will hold more marbles.

failing to remove it from said nostril could have these negative effects:
- sir/ma'am, what's that hanging out of your nose?
- restricted breathing / suffocation

you could stick it in your ear (i hear that a lot.  trust me.  a lot.) with this benefit:
- semi or permanent ear ring

I think it works the same way that using a metal bar to wash your hands can remove onion smells etc.
