Was alittle disoriented this AM 'til I found the Look & Layout Preferences area per SpyDie's forum upgrade post.
Actually going to try out that Zone Blue for while...kinda rich with color.  Hadn't noticed that one before.

Corrine

  Me too.  I wasn't crazy about the new default SMF theme.

And ya know, when using the default theme it shows stats at the bottom.  Mine shows 23 Most Users Ever online.  Surely, we've had more than that before.  It would seem that number would be higher.
I know in the future it will be anyways.

so there i was
just starting to take a sip of my morning coffee
when my eyes were greeted by the new default screen

ever try and drink coffee when your jaw drops open???

and spent about 5 min trying to adjust the contrast/brite on my eyeballs and remembered i don't have any adjustments
(still have the original V1.0 eyeballs i got when i got this body)

so after several grunts that were suppose to be words i found the post about going to RC2

so with squinty eyes and found it and

ahhhh things are back to normal
( ok maybe not normal to the free world but to my little corner of it )

Corrine

Just as long as you didn't spill any of that coffee!

Exactly!       :hysterical:

But then I couldn't "preview" this reply in the Zone Blue, so I switched back to Babylon.

i found a better way for first coffee in the morning
1/2 a pot in the I.V.
then the other 1/2 pot i can use eye hand co-ordination and try and sip ( i do keep a mop handy) heheh

and by golly i usually can get the coffee to start working by noon
but last week i did have some defective beans and took a bit longer ;-D

i tried cutting out the middle man and just chew the coffee beans, but the crunching sound keeps me awake

now bobby requirs a daily walk out side..( he swears it is written in his contract)

with the floods here does anyone know where i can get a small diggie life raft?
remember anything over 4 inches of water and he is swimming

that took care of the first 1/2 of his problem, but now when i walk him he just lays on his back and relaxes and looks like i am pulling a yellow fountain ;~D

in 45mph gust with his long ears he becomes airborne so i fly him like a kite ;-)

he needs a IP(instructor pilot) or expert that can certify him to solo now ! heheheh

he keeps complaining about the hard landings when i am flying him ;-)
and getting tired of having to climb down from the trees
( doing his peanuts kite flying immitation)

Corrine

Doesn't the Phantom Phixer know a couple pilots who can help both of you -- Mr. Bobby on improving his flying techniques and you on softer landings?

Quotesofter landings

Reminds me of the difference between Navy and Air Force pilots ... "greasing it" versus "banging one on".

he keeps saying, if it ain't on the lines you landed too long

and wow does he get noisy when the stall warning goes off !!!
the original white knuckeled paws pilot !

and i get sore leggs every time he has to kick the rudder ;-)

but he is slowly getting the hang of "needle, ball and airspeed"

but he does look cute in his ww1 goggels and scarf heheheheh ( just ask Maya)
yep even brasso's his lt. bars, but really screams when i put them on him ;-)
think when it is time to pin his wings it will really get noisy !

note in history
when i got my privite pilots liscense my dad pinned on his old Army Air Corps wings and that was my good luck when i was flying, musta have worked as i am here typing now ;-)
