testing how to delete

For the life of me, I can't find a delete button in the editor.  So this is to test -- if I click Modify, and delete the entire contents of the message text, and then Post -- will that somehow delete the message?

I posted for help in the LzD Lounge forum -- the only forum which seems appropriate to me.  However, no replies yet.  Is there a better forum to post in?

What I want is to delete an entire message, so that it no longer appears at all.  I can't find a button anywhere, though.  So I thought, what if I use Modify, and then delete all the contents of the message? Here I was thinking about something like your example, where the message would still exist, but the content would be blank, or empty.  But once I deleted the contents, using Modify, and clicked Post, I got an error message that I was trying to post a blank message!   And there were no other options but Back, so it just wouldn't post.

But, in the absence of a delete button, I'm suspecting that another problem I've been having with the forums isn't just a glitch.  Maybe it's a symptom of a larger problem.  And I detailed that info in the post in LzD Lounge.  Please let me know if there's a better forum to post this problem, and I'll copy my request for help there.

If i have this right and i have been trying it out using differant theames a member can delete a post that has been made as a reply but NOT if the post is a topic starter.
if the post you want to remove is a topic starter then I recommend that you edit the post usinf the modify button type in some thing like "Sorry Please remove this post" and I sure that one of the Admin will remove it for you.

I would say that "LandzDown Lounge" is the best place for it
