Good morning to all of You!

I would like to know, which antispyware software is good for windows 7 system and if this is necessary. I have already installed ESSET Smart Security.

Thank You!

Hi:

Sorry for the late response here, but you should be fine ESSET Smart Security, it has an antispyware.

I have a question;

What is Windows Defender?  If I have a licensed antivirus product (Eset), what is the purpose of having Windows Defender? Recently it asked for scanning my computer. Should I uninstall it?

It is an anti spyware program.  It should not hurt anything to leave it, even though you are running ESET Security suite which already its own.

It is an anti spyware program.

Not to be confused with Windows Defender Offline, the boot-scan software originally named Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper, or Windows Defender, the renamed Microsoft Security Essentials pre-installed on Windows 8.

My computer runs with Windows 7, and Windows Defender was already installed when I bought it.
