Actually, I think the plural of basis is bases  :lol:
But for this sentence, I think you are both right!

jamesk, because using the word basis in this sentence seems proper and common usage of the english language and Graph is right because his proper usage of the english language sometimes seems uncommon :hysterical:

Bases is the plural for Base like in baseball the Bases are loaded.  But the correct word in this particular sentence is basis.
