Good morning everyone!

Just ran the Secunia scan and it shows Adobe Shockwave Player and Oracle Java JRE out of date.  Greyed out letters under their icons say "updating."  Are they really updating?  Seems like nothing is happening.  Do I need to seek out the updates myself?

Also, it shows Mozilla T-bird as out of date, and I don't believe it is.  Clicking the link takes me to a page where I can download Firefox.

Thank you.

Hi, Daisy.

I suggest you check the versions you have installed and manually update if outdated.  Below are links to the most recent versions.  Please take care when installing to uncheck any unwanted extras (toolbar, scans, etc.)

Adobe Shockwave Player, Version 12.0.4.144.

Java Version 7 Update 45.

The current version of Mozilla Thunderbird is 24.0.1.  To check/update, go to the Help menu and select About Thunderbird.
