"You'll Never Walk Alone", one of my absolute favorite songs!

Although I have a forum friend in Croatia, I add my voice:  England! England!

What a shame. I did not think England necessarily could beat France had we got there but I did expect us to reach the final. I think we were the team that tired first but hopefully this is new beginnings for England

I picked all the semifinalists correctly, yet NONE of the finalists.

England has a lot to build on, but they succumbed to the dreaded 'scoring too early' affliction.  Croatia was the better side in the second half, and all through extra time.

I endured Tony nominee Renée Fleming singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' on the PBS "A Capitol Fourth" last week (she was nominated for Carousel) ... fortunately I had the Gerry & The Pacemakers version on hand to get her version out of my head.

After Frands' post, I did a quick search for the song and Renée Fleming's version was the first choice.  I started listening to it and closed it.  Gerry & the Pacemakers is so much better.

Of course I'll root for England against Belgium but may just have to root for Croatia for a friend on another forum.

England v Belgium is a game that nobody wants to play.  :-\

Croatia may surprise France.  They looked fresher today, despite all of the extra time matches they've endured.

Although one of the things I was impressed with is the composure Gareth Southgate kept throughout the entire thing. There weren't many times you saw anything but a calm & collected manager.

Jordan Pickford was one of the standout stars for me, what an incredible goalkeeper.

QuoteFrom Australia, Tim Cahill was one of my favorite players in Real Football.  :)

Sorry to inform you but as from today he has retired from all international football at the age of 38. He had a great career with Australia.
