Hello,
I have a new Dell Inspiron laptop just out of the box and want to remove McAfee's trial version and install MSE, Malwarebytes, and SuperAntispyware before I do anything else.  Is is possible for someone to guide me through this process?

Dell Inspiron
Win7 Home Premium
Intel Pentium processor 64 bit
4GB DDR3
500 GB hard drive

Thank you in advance.

Re-start your computer after uninstalling the McAfee products.

If you run into any problems, there is a Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR): http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS101331

However, the add/remove method should work properly, so only use the MCPR if you find things didn't uninstall completely.

Congratulations on the new laptop, Pam.  Don't forget to make sure the Windows Firewall is working.  You can find it in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Firewall
