The initial install of Build 10049 failed yesterday and the option to Retry wasn't available until today.  The one error message from yesterday was supplemented by a number of other errors.  However, clicking Retry, the installation today went quickly and smoothly.

At this point, for my purposes only because Spartan only includes the "Edge" rendering engine with Reading View and Web Note.  I gather the inability to use a tab group as a start page and the ability to right-click a link from Favorites is not included since the "Trident" (MSHTML) rendering engine is missing from this preview.

This link may be of some interest for future Windows 10 users. I run Windows 7 Home Premium and the folder and files are on both my PCs.

Pete!

Has this been done before?
When I was still using dialup, I delayed upgrading from Win 8 to 8.1 until I could take the time to pack up my desktop and bring it to a location with broadband.
I forget the details, (popup or whatever) but there was a lot of "nagging".
