I like to use this search engine from mycroft project for Firefox

DuckDuckGo (no filter,no ads)

It works with sea monkey and may work with pale moon.

DuckDuckGo works with any browser.  I don't have the fastest broadband connection and use https://www.ublock.org/ with Pale Moon so no ads, regardless of the website.

I've been using DDG as my default home page in IE, PM, FF and Chrome for at least 5 years now. As Corrine said, you can use it with any browser.

Ummm, maybe for the Linux distro but in SeaMonkey for Windows, Google is the default search engine.

What I was trying to say is, you can easily add  DuckDuckGo (no filter,no ads) to the search box

on Sea Monkey by getting it from the   mycroft project site. Click and it is added.

other search engines are available there too. :)

I didn't have to add it; it was already the default in SeaMonkey. Don't you run linux?

I also have it in PaleMoon and FF ESR in Windows.

Well, the Search that come with Linux tells web sites that I am using Linux.

I changed all my search engine that note my operating system.

They do not need to know.
