Pete!

Just noticed that "McAfee WebAdvisor" has stopped blocking access.
WOT is still "green".

I'm not getting the same McAfee result that you are, it is still blocked. The site now is kind of fragmented if you get there.

If I "google" it there's still a WebAdvisor "red Xed circle" by it's link, and the "site report" is still showing "high risk" (just like your link), but it's no longer blocking my access.

Nothing is forever, accepting and preparing for this in advance is good for the long term. Freedomlist.com served folks well and it is good we all have fond memories of that site. It is evident now that the time to move on came long ago. Let us all pray for the peace, well being and the moving on to more positive thing for webmaster, all the mods and members. It helps to focus on the good we can do in terms of learning, networking positively and supporting others no matter where we go from this point. There are a lot more sites today and more folks who need our support and interaction.

Best Wishes to all. :)

I'm finally here.  :)  I registered at Freedomlist in Feb, 2001, I think, after being a visitor for some time before that.  I was there until the end.  :(

Where's your old avatar, Boz, or are you going to opt for a new one?

I wasn't sure if the Internet Archive would show where images were originally hosted or not so went looking for yours.  Turns out, I clicked on an interesting thread in the archive with a lot of names, many of whom are here but also a few others not forgotten, including blsJason, Curt, kelticwizard, Aznboi1396.

Got it.  Thanks!

I was wondering when you were going to show up, welcome back Boz :)

Freedomlist is just part of the past now.

All things change and sometimes it just happens. My first Walkman, a AM transistor radio in a shirt pocket ;D

A computer wasn't even concealable at the time. Imagine if someone told you 45 years ago you would have a computer, phone, and music player just one device in your pocket.

Hah, I grew up when radios either had to be plugged in or have crystals. I had a crystal set that I used an alligator clip to clip to the metal baseboard radiator and listened with a single earplug.

When transistor radios came out, I was thrilled that you could walk around with a radio unplugged! My first transistor radio was huge.  It did not fit in a pocket.
Chugging coffee and computing!
