I can't remember the last time I burned anything.

It is easier to rip and store mp3s and mp4s on USB sticks, portable hard drives, sd cards and micro sd cards. Most take up so much less space than CDs and DVDs. The exception would be the portable hard drive.
I have a 32GB micro sd card that has 13 episodes of a 55 minute tv show and is only 25% full. I should be able to store all 3 seasons on a device that is about a big as the nail on my thumb. (I have a 2nd copy stored on a USB stick).  The series comes on 11 DVDs! I'd much rather have a micro sd card and USB stick to cart around or store than 11 DVDs.
