HTTPS Everywhere will sunset in January 2023

As the major browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, and Safari) now offer native support for an HTTPS-only mode, you will no longer need HTTPS Everywhere to set HTTPS by default.   For details on how to enable HTTP-Only in these browsers, see

Not mentioned in the referenced link for Microsoft Edge is the following to always switch to HTTPS: Click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Settings.  Select "Privacy, search, and services".  Under "Security", change the setting to "Always switch from HTTP to HTTPS".

That option didn't appear for me until I first did the edge://flags/#edge-automatic-https in my browser, then I could enable Automatic HTTPS
