Hi, lzr84.  Following are the instructions for removing SpywareNo from your PC.  Note, however, that running Option 2 as described below will remove your Desktop background if you are not infected.  However, you can always put it back if that is the case.  Alternatively, you can run option 1, described below, and post the logfile for review before proceeding with the following steps.

Since your operating system is XP, follow those instructions and disregard the Win98/ME instructions.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
** Option 1:  Do this first if you are not certain you are infected and post the resultant log.  Otherwise, proceed with the removal instructions below.**
Please download SmitfraudFix (© S!Ri) to your Desktop from http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip .  Extract all the files to your Desktop and a folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.
Open the SmitfraudFix folder
  • Double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
  • Select option #1 - Search by
    • typing 1
    • pressing "Enter"
  • A text file will appear which lists infected files (if present).
  • Please copy/paste the content of that report into a new topic of your own (or a reply if you already have a topic).
:!: Note :!:
process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool".  It is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.  (See http://www.beyondlogic.org/consulting/processutil/processutil.htm )
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

PRINT or SAVE these instructions to text where you can access them in safe mode.
Please follow the instructions in the order given.

REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS:

A.  Download and/or update the following programs.  Install them but do NOT run them yet.

  • Please download HijackThis (© Merijn) from:  http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/HJTsetup.exe

    Note:  This is a complete installer that installs HijackThis to your computer at C:\Program Files\HijackThis, making an entry in the start menu and also providing a desktop shortcut.  If HijackThis is used from a temp folder, it is in danger of being accidentally deleted by clean up tools.

    At the download prompt, choose "Save".  After the download is complete, navigate to the C:\Program Files\HijackThis folder and double-click it to complete the installation.

  • Download SmitfraudFix (© S!Ri) to your Desktop from http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip .  Extract all the files to your Desktop and a folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.

  • Download CCleaner from the link at the upper right of this page: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner.html .

  • Windows 2000 and Windows XP Users, please download ewido AntiMalware.  It is a free version of the program.

    • Install ewido AntiMalware

      • Launch ewido, there will be a large yellow e icon on your desktop, double-click it.
      • The program will prompt you to update.  Click the OK button.
      • The program will now open to the main screen
      • On the left-hand side of the main screen, click on Update
      • Click on Start. The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
      • When complete, the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful".
    • Do not scan yet.
    • If you have problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido --   Ewido manual updates
  • Windows 98 and ME Users:  If you have not already installed Ad-Aware SE 1.06, please download it from one of these sites:
    Download.com:  http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button
    Major Geeks.comhttp://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=506
    Follow the instructions here.  Don't run it yet!
B.  Restart your computer in Safe Mode.

  • If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power.
  • Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the computer on.
  • Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu will appear. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
  • Ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
  • Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe Mode.
  • Login on your usual account.
    If you need further assistance with Safe Mode, see Symantec

    • Double-click smitfraudfix.cmd file to start the tool.
    • Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press Enter.
      Warning : running option #2 on a uninfected computer will remove your Desktop background.
    • Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.
    • You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry?"

      • Answer Yes by typing Y
      • Hit Enter.
    • The tool will also check if wininet.dll is infected. If a clean version is found, you will be prompted to replace wininet.dll.

      • Answer Yes to the question "Replace infected file?" by typing Y
      • Hit Enter.
    • A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process.  If your computer does not restart automatically please do it yourself manually.
    • Restart in Safe Mode as instructed above.
    • The tool will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.
    D. Clean Temporary Internet files with CCleaner as follows:

    • Close/Quit Internet Explorer and quit any instances of Windows Explorer.
    • Launch CCleaner and under Options > Advanced > UNcheck "Only delete files in Windows Temp folder older than 48 hours".
    • A pop up box will appear advising this process will permanently delete files from your system.
    • To protect logon cookies that you wish to retain, under Options > Cookies.  Select and using the arrow move those cookies to the "Cookies to keep" column.
    • Then select the items you wish to clean up.

    • Click Start, click Control Panel and then double-click Display.
    • Click on the Desktop tab, then click the Customize Desktop button.
    • Click on the Web tab. Under Web Pages you should see a checked entry called Security info or something similar. If it is there, select that entry and click the Delete button. Click Ok then Apply and Ok.
    • Empty the Recycle Bin by right-clicking the Recycle Bin icon on your Desktop, and then clicking Empty Recycle Bin.
    F. Windows 2000 and Windows XP Users, run ewido:

    • Open ewido and click on scanner
    • Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.

When i switch on or restart the computer, the window always apperar this BOX:
Run-time error '53':
File not found: KeybHook

How to solve the problem or remove it? thank!!

Die Hard

lzr84 :)

Please try this:

Tap (Windowskey+R)
Type, or copy and paste, this command:

  regsvr32 /u "%System%\keybhook.dll"   (regsvr32space /u  space"%System%\keybhook.dll")

then click OK.

A window might appear confirming the action, click OK.

If you get a message that this action couldn´t be performed, please post a new HJT-log and let´s have a look.
I believe there still exists a reference to this file in your registry and this is the culprit to the message that occures.

1.  Could you please make a search for the file "lsasss.exe" and copy it to a folder of its own(NB, it has three "S", there is a legimit Windows file with only 2
Once you did that, please also copy the file C:\WINDOWS\Window.exe to the same folder, then zip them and e-mail them to me :  diehardATmalware-research.co.uk , replacing "AT" with @.

2. Click (Windowskey+R) and type services.msc. In the window that opens ,scroll down until you find Windows Management (Windows Management Int)
Doubleclick upon it and in the new window under "Startup type" set it to disabled and click "Stop". Then click "Apply" and close.

3. Run HiJack This and checkmark the following items, then click on "fix checked" and click yes on the prompt that follows:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ethernet] lsasss.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [ethernet] lsasss.exe
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_04\bin\npjpi150_04.dll
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_04\bin\npjpi150_04.dll
O9 - Extra button: Spyware Doctor - {2D663D1A-8670-49D9-A1A5-4C56B4E14E84} - C:\PROGRA~1\SPYWAR~1\tools\iesdpb.dll (file missing)
O23 - Service: Windows Management (Windows Management Int) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\Window.exe

4. Now reboot into Safe Mode.
In safe mode, locate and delete

lsasss.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Window.exe

5. While still in safe mode, run Ewido once again to make sure that any references to those files don´t remain.
When the scan is finished, click save report and add it to your desktop

6. Reboot normally and post another HJT-log together with the Ewido report you saved.

Regards

Did you follow the instructions in #2, and have you disabled the service ?
In any case, please repeat the steps I mentioned there and then run HiJack This and checkmark and fix this line:

O23 - Service: Windows Management (Windows Management Int) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\Window.exe

Reboot into safe mode.
Then navigate to C:\Windows and delete Window.exe. Note: You should look for a file with the name "Window.exe" inside the Windows folder

System.exe is malware, I´m certain it is. I just tried to determine what kind it was, if it was known already.
Could you please navigate to the file and right-click upon it and choose properties and see if there is any vendor stated there, and/or file-version.
