Well, the uninstall didn't take 'cause its stil on your system.  However, unless it was set for self-updating, it is not likely the source of the problem because it is the new version that is resulting in the same CPU usage that you mentioned.  If you are sure you no longer want Webroot's SpySweeper, I suggest you go to add/remove programs and check again for an uninstall for Webroot or Spy Sweeper.

C:\Program Files\Webroot\Spy Sweeper\WRSSSDK.exe
O23 - Service: Webroot Spy Sweeper Engine (svcWRSSSDK) - Webroot Software, Inc. - C:\Program Files\Webroot\Spy Sweeper\WRSSSDK.exe
O23 - Service: Washer Security Access (wwSecSvc) - Webroot Software, Inc. - C:\WINDOWS\system32\wwSecure.exe

I also noticed the following that I saw in other instances where people were complaining of their system being slow:

O16 - DPF: {A7EA8AD2-287F-11D3-B120-006008C39542} (CBSTIEPrint Class) - http://offers.e-centives.com/cif/download/bin/actxcab.cab

It certainly wouldn't be causing the problems you've ndicated though.  So, let's wait and see what SpyDie thinks (he's in a different time zone and most likely sleeping now).  In the meantive, should you elect to uninstall SpySweeper, let us know if there is any difference.

Ok, I reformatted the hard drive and it's still happening!  I am at my wit's end!  Being disabled, I cannot be without my computer!

TonyD

Ok, I reformatted, ran scan disk, ran defrag, ran Spyware Doctor, ran PC Tools Anti-Virus, ran AVG Anti-Virus, and it is till running at 100% CPU Usage and moving super slow.

SpyDie

It is souding more like overheating because you reformatted the drive and the problem is still there.  Is there any one that could clean the computer if you cannot yourself?
Beta. Software undergoes beta testing shortly before it's released. Beta is Latin for 'still doesn't work.'

TonyD

What do you mean by "clean"?  Use the can of air and spray it out?

mitch

yes
blow out the "dust bunnies"

you will have a fan on the processor
make sure it is turning
and blow away any funk on a heatskin and fan blades

you will have one or more cooling fans, do the same with them

then you have one fan in the powersupply, do the same thing !
dumb question but have to ask

when you re formatted and reloaded...did you do it with some restore disk or did you load windows and then the other programs???

if you loaded just windows first,,, were you still at 100% or after adding all the programs you have?
