Chrome-type browsers urgent update

There is a zero-day exploit affecting all browsers using chrome as a basis. This would be Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and some lesser known browsers.

Remember to check not only your Windows computers but also your android phone and any android tablets you have.

Chrome 99.0.4844.84
Vivaldi 5.1
Brave 1.36.122

I don't use the other browsers so I'm not sure what the patched version should be.

One drawback I found: Brave on android devices doesn't update through the browser. I had to go to googleplay to see the update button to update to the patched version.

FWIW, the latest version of Microsoft Edge 64-bit is Version 99.0.1150.55: March 26 and it does address this vulnerability. I will note, however, that when I checked Edge a few minutes ago, it was not fully updated, I was still at 1150.52 from March 24.

So I manually ran Windows Update and it then picked up the latest version for Edge. I am going to assume it is safe to assume ???  this update would have been found and installed the next time WU automatically checked for updates, which on this system, should have been later today.

In checking my W11 notebook and two other W10 systems, Edge on them was already at the latest (1150.55) version having updated themselves overnight. :)
