"Twenty-six years is a long time to be on the Net without a clue about computers", said my professor, yet I replied "That's OK, I've been stupid for over double that time."

"Anniversary Netty", typed the computer geek for the upcoming alumni-association party, his mind surely not on the task at hand.

At hand was just a hammer and an adjustable spanner but he did manage fix the car.

Much like women, the car that gave me the most thrills and tickets was my '87 Ford Mustang GT, yet the car that never broke down, never talked back, and always greeted me with a warm purr when I turned the key was my '81 Toyota Corolla station wagon.

"Station wagon" and "sleek" are never used in the same sentence.

Same sentence syndrome is why I repeat these words over and over.

Playing blackjack in Vegas, I hate it when the house plants a shill, usually a fairly attractive "too-friendly" female, next to me at the table to disrupt the deal and make the table icy cold when I'm on a winning streak.

The current record for the largest group streak was established , with on

It was a day like no other as at the University of Georgia on March 7, 1974 there were 1,543 simultaneous streakers witch is one record I think will take some beating.

Simultaneous streakers have been known to gather for a short time and run in counterclockwise circles in a 20-meter-diameter iron skillet to do their "flash in the pan".

The pan was so dirty, that after an hour of scouring, I just tossed it in the garbage.
