Nope, don't watch much or engage in any athletics.  I've tried most everything, but not very talented in that dept.  My parents were very athletic and excelled at most that they did ...were both marksmen  :Win73:(is there a "markswomen"?), avid alpine skiiers, won many tournaments in golf, bowling (nationally), I could go on...and then there was me.
I DO have an indoor cross-country ski machine, but it has alot of dust on it  :tease:

Oh la la, I love Thai food ..some spicey peanut sauce...hmmmm :D  yummy!  Too bad I already had one of mitch's Charles roast in the oven, or I'd run out and get some...there's a take-out Thai restaurant not too far.  Good post!  Reminded me to put that on my list of things to do.

@skittle, usually you are catching all sorts of colored plastic beads and such at at a Mardi Gras parade that are thrown out in a frenzy...and since it is such a WILD time...sometimes ya MIGHT catch something else  :tease:

I wonder what Mardi Gras parades are like in other countries?  Are we Americans in New Orleans the only fools on the planet?  :tease:

And on a serious note, I'm happy to see semblence of "normalcy" come back to that city after such a devastating weather season.  :)

TPBM hears what, in the morning when they wake up and start their day?

These days?? Well, these days I hear hammering, drilling, and all kinds of banging around!!!  LOL  As I mentioned many times before, they are tearing down all of our balconies and putting in new ones.  They just started this week, to start the tear down process.

They have been starting around 6:45am!!!  They are supposed to start at 7am, which in my opinion is STILL TOO EARLY, but this morning it was a little earlier.

AND the balcony is at our bedroom and livingroom.  We have a balcony door to the balcony in both our livingroom and bedroom, so there isn't much chance of escaping the pounding.

It will take awhile before they are done.

But until then, normally I wake up to loud music...the radio.

I have to have the radio alarm.  Otherwise I would not wake up at all!  lol  Cuz I will train myself the sound of the alarm, and I will block it out...therefore, I won't hear it and won't wake up.  BUT I cannot train myself to block out the radio, since the sound is always different each time.  So I have to trick myself like that.  lol

Oh and Ripley...I just learned how to make Thai...YUM!!!

Now I just need to learn to make the peanut sauce, and the noodle dish with peanut sauce.  I just love that stuff!

TPBM prefers to eat out, rather then eat at home.

Hi Mimi!  :D

Well, if it's as good as you say it is, then I'd LOVE to taste some of Scittlesesesesesss chilisoup!
She might have to freeze dry it and pack it well to get it to me tho!  :|
Now maybe you can teach her how to prepare surstr√∂mming, mandelpotatis (almondpotatoes), hard white bread and red onion!  :tease:

TPBM has recently celebrated an anniversary of something special, or it is coming soon.

Naw, I don't think so...pass.  I have plenty of clothes to fold in this house.  Yours probably have balcony dust and fragments on them anyways.   :hysterical:
At least, GR@PH;<'S had beer at his place... :beg:

TPBM can remember the very first virus or malware that was identified on their computer, or at least when they found it.

note...I'm having problems getting this to post, so maybe it will post twice.

hmmm let me think NO!

what is the weakest thing I could think of...maybe a feather?  That would be my nerves!

Ripley, I had some Martini here for ya.....shhhh it is for Mimmi when she comes over, cuz personally I hate it, but she loves it...but I won't tell if you take a swig of it..hehehe  :moreevil:  Also if you prefer, I have some wonderful Pear Cider (not cider like as in the apple cider juice you buy in a gallon or half gallon jug), this is great stuff with alcohol in it! And the taste?  YUM!  Altho right now the kind I have in the house is just 2.25%, I usually pick up a few at 7% alcohol!  hehehe

TPBM thinks that all of this talk about alcohol from me, ripley, graph, philsharp and anyone else I left out, means that we might be boosers! (I can answer for myself, I am all talk, but no show, when it comes to boose)  hehehe

I notice a few celebratory comments here and there, at Landzdown, mixed in a with a little reference to whatever fav beverage we all might be wanting to have LATER...doesn't sound like a bunch of boosers to me!
We are all very respectable here at Landzdown and ALWAYS drink responsibly.

And I KNOW none of us here at Landzdown are drinking and "driving" their computers at the same time... :hysterical:

TPBM wants to come and fix my car's oil leak.
(On pins and needles waiting for a call from the mechanic at the shop where my car is now.   I can just imagine how much this is going to set me back to have it fixed... :titanic: uggggghhhhh!  Maybe it's just a loose screw... :uhm:
