Virtually knowing?: hmmm, what a difference 50 or 60 years makes! I guess that the equivalent in the 1950s and 1960s would have been pen pals who never physically met.
Yes with we old Freedomlisters it does nearly go back 20 years. I do not remember when I registered there. I do remember that I hung around a few months in the shadows before I allowed "drchaps" (our old friend Steve) to badger me into registering. I think that Freedomlist had only been around 3, 4, or 5 months at that point. At any rate cheers to all of us who remain from that time, almost 20 years later!
As for this special day perhaps Corrine you were good at "picking [techie's] brain," but "the road that [you] have followed" has been a distinctive and significant one. That road has brought your name and particular energy into the lives of many, all of whom would most likely sing praises just for knowing you as Panos did to start this celebration thread.
I cannot and will not add to your "cakes"---I would not want you to have to go out to buy a new wardrobe! (Smile) But I suspect that I speak for many if not all of us in saying that the special, wholehearted, and sincere beneficence that has marked and infused your online internet life has bestowed grace and blessings on all of us. So know you that the many of us reflect and return that grace and blessings to you in deep gratitude on this special day . . . and always!
May you live long and prosper!!!
