KB4524244 has been pulled from Windows Update due to issues with the “Reset this PC”.  In the event this affects your ability to use the Reset feature, see Windows 10, version 1909 and Windows Server, version 1909 - Windows Release Information | Microsoft Docs.

Thanks,Corrine.  I have updates paused because of the reports of this issue. At the time I started the pause, there was a note in the update manager that updates were ready to download.  I'm assuming that meant they hadn't been downloaded to my machine yet.

Does this mean its safe to unpause now?

Yes.  Besides, you could always uninstall that update if you needed to reset your PC and the update prevented the reset.

Before I allowed the update, I moved all folders/files off my desktop since loss of desktop files was being reported by some users after the update.    Happy to report that the test folder I left on the desktop was still there after the update, so everything appears to have updated successfully.     I hope windows gets their act together soon.  It is wearying that there  always seems to be some new angst related to the monthly update.
