Prerequisite:

You must install the May 11, 2021 update (KB5003173) before installing the latest cumulative update (LCU).

Microsoft now combines the latest servicing stack update (SSU) for your operating system with the latest LCU. For general information about SSUs, see Servicing stack updates and Servicing Stack Updates (SSU): Frequently Asked Questions.

My taskbar notification bar was wonky upon restart, sometimes appearing jumbled, sometimes shifted to the right, sometimes missing entirely, the behavior was triggered by what I moused over or clicked on.  Finally diagnosed the problem as having to do with the News and Interest area that I had previously turned off.  Turning it back on and then back off cleared the issue, apparently having it turned off confused Windows upon restart.  If anyone else notices some strange behavior in the lower right of their screen, you might try that solution.  All appears good now ...

I love that we can now have the weather/temp display on the taskbar.  I installed this update sooner than I usually do just to get that feature.   Mine News & Interest was apparently already turned on, because the display came on when the computer rebooted after the update installed.
