That was my understanding, but I would have hoped having a Group Policy setting saying delay feature updates would actually delay it, no matter how updates are checked for. Assuming I had policy settings set correctly, I would believe the update wouldn't come down no matter what. Instead, I had to call my dad and tell him to avoid manually checking for updates because he doesn't want it in his office until it's been in the wild for at least several weeks. Perhaps I'm supposed to use Windows Server Update Services so I can control available updates on the domain. It's the only "workaround" I can come up with off the top of my head.
