I think it is a shame that some people have to be  in this time of need for those who were affected.

EASTER

Nearly 2 weeks into that disaster and what used to be the city of New Orleans Louisiana is still inundated with polluted flood waters, fires breaking out daily all over the city, and confrontations leading to shootings?

This is a definitely clear sign that it is an authentic genuine biblical Apocalyptic disaster of modern times unlike any other.

Someone or something needs to slow this turntable down some.

Die Hard

"The response to Hurricane Katrina must be well coordinated between federal, state and local officials to most effectively protect life and property," Brown said. "We appreciate the willingness and generosity of our Nation's first responders to deploy during disasters. But such efforts must be coordinated so that fire-rescue efforts are the most effective possible."

I just heard that Brown is withdrawn from head of the operation. Many days too late, it seems.
I also heard that his biggest merite before this, is that he used to be chairman of the American Arabic Horse Association.

Die Hard :)

EASTER

I joined WWL Forums last week and boy howdy what a free-for-all that is. Every conceivable opinion one could imagine is being bandied about and some fierce exchanges tempered with the occasional reasonable discussion or two. LoL

This country will be bankrupt with a few more events of this nature or some other pressing demand requiring billions of imaginary dollars. I always believed and still do that all the gov has to do is crank up the presses, feed in the ink, and print more paper and turn out all the dollars they want.
