Do you have this ?  Does it work?  I have a VERY dear friend that has RSD and she can no longer see to work her puter and I have everything set up for the blind.  Now it is no longer good for her and I was wondering about this Voice thingy, as now she is more depressed as she cannot make out her keys or the screen? Her world is shrinking. And I worry...about her future. This would be a godsend if it works!

Yes I used it for a while it takes some getting used to but well worth it  :mitch:
I am sure that other use or have Speech Recognition,
Like I said it took a few days / weeks to learn it and a few days/weeks to learn it to understand my Brumie (Birmingham/Black Country) accent.
But after a few mishaps I found it some times easier to use then my Keyboard

my Brumie (Birmingham/Black Country) accent- okay, can you in American English maybe explain what is " pit" referred to in several instances ? Some of the words we use here in the US with meanings very similar to yours, others the words are the same but our meanings are very different. I can see your difficulty with just playing these games in the forum and you guys are truly amazing! I don't believe I could translate to play in your accent.  But yes, yes I do  :wub: accents, they only just confuse the guts out of me sometimes and I must ask what probably seems to be some REALLY DUMBquestions, to you?!
