For those that use the stub installer in lieu of the full installer from Download Firefox in your language should deselect send installation metrics to Mozilla (this is nothing short of Spyware) Screencapture shows.

32 or 64 bit?  I double-checked and have 32-bit ESR version 38.7.0 (as I recall, previous version 38.6.1).

x86 this time around, I use it so little, there's no need for x64.

I just backtracked a loong way (I've also had Nvidia driver issues ) and on the Localisations page, there's an ill-defined (esp. for someone with a colour deficiency) option:

Time for an uninstall and revert to the tried and trusted v38 build.

Looks like come May, we will be moving from v 38 to v 45 on ESR.

This one seems rather urgent based on the changelog: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/45.0.1/releasenotes/

Firefox released a patch to 45.0, it is now 45.0.1 released March 16, 2016

This was more of a bug fix, no security fixes.

HAH, I know why I didn't do the browser update. I was busy dealing with trying to update Windows 7 and trouble shooting those issues!

I'll mark in my notes to look for an update close to April 19th. It is my backup browser so I don't fire it up too often.

Since ESR will continue to be updated through v 38, sometime in May, I'll move to the next ESR version 45.
