Mozilla sent Firefox Version 59.0.3 to the release channel today.  The update fixes a syntax error that affects Windows 10 Spring Update, Version 1803 but not earlier builds.  It affects all Firefox versions at least as far back as ESR52.

ESR has been updated to version 52.7.4.

Based on http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.php?system=Windows_XP I'd say 37.0.2.

And, I'll feel better if I mention that whole Windows XP and end of support and potential security issues and all that.

There have been so many critical security updates to Firefox in the past 3 years since 37.0.2 was released . . .

G, just bite the darn bullet and use the Windows machine you have.

hayc59,

I think Firefox 51.0.1 was the last reasonable version to work on Windows XP.  I saved a copy.  After that I had to switch over to the esr versions.

The latest esr versions have a certain "jerkiness" on my Windows XP but they still work.

SeaMonkey 2.49.2 is a close cousin of Firefox and it works much more smoothly on Windows XP.

Firefox 52 ESR security updates for XP and Vista users will continue until June 2018, although new features will not be offered. You will continue to receive important Firefox security updates but no other features or updates.

Although not advocating the continued use of Windows XP, for those who are, see ESET Distinguished Researcher Aryeh Goretsky's article How to use Windows XP securely - mitigating risk for millions still in use.

Yes, Firefox 52.x ESR is the last browser that works on XP. All other stopped supporting XP and also aren't safe to use as well as XP.  The last time I checked, it will be updated until sometime in August 2018 when v 60 ESR comes out.

It is time to stop using XP on the internet. Pull that computer off and get something safer to surf. At the very least, grab an 8GB USB stick, put a live linux distro on it and pop it into the computer when you want to surf. Better yet, get something like a Chromebook or android tablet to surf.
